Na versão repaginada de 2006 da célebre série dos anos 80's, Sonny Crocket - personagem de Colin Farrell - usa um Vacheron Constantin Malte Chronograph Perpetual Calender, em platina.

A caixa de platina mede 39mm e é resistente a água até 30 metros. O movimento é descrito como "the manual-wind Vacheron caliber VC 1141QP with 21 jewels, beating at 18,000 bph". Sua reserva de marcha é de 48 horas. Suas funções incluem horas, minutos, segundos, data - dia, mês, ano, fase da lua -, cronógrafo com contador de minutos e ponteiro de segundos central. O diretor Michael Mann gostou tanto que incorporou um à sua coleção.
